JEDDAH: Four hundred and fifty academics, realtors, university professors and businessmen took oath yesterday before Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed as professional real estate estimators after receiving intensive training.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). “This group was trained to work as professional estimators in the real estate sector,” said Mazen Batterjee, deputy chairman of the JCCI. He said the newly graduated estimators would put an end to the speculative pricing of real estate properties. “Speculative trading was one of the main reasons for an increase in real estate prices,” he added.
