AL-JOUF: Police in Al-Qurayat in northern Al-Jouf province have said enough is enough regarding the habit of discharging firearms into the air at wedding celebrations.

Head of Al-Qurayat police, Col. Badr Al-Talib, said wedding hall owners have been instructed to ban firing weapons in the air or they will also be held accountable.

Firing weapons into the air can lead to damage of property and injuries to people.

Wedding decoration shops were instructed not to decorate cars for wedding as it encourages wedding entourages to roam the streets making noise and causing traffic problems.
