DAMMAM: Eastern Province police arrested on Saturday a 19-year-old Yemeni, who worked as a shepherd in Jubail. The Yemeni was arrested in connection with the recent murder of an Indian laborer, according to police sources. The Yemeni confessed that he went to the shed where the Indian was sleeping and struck him with an iron pipe several times, the source added. He fled the scene after stealing the Indian’s cell phone with a recharge card for a large sum. The Indian transferred money to shepherds’ mobile phones for a fee. A Saudi informed the detectives that he suspected the Yemeni murdered the Indian since he had disappeared from work after the murder.
