JEDDAH: The department of licenses and control in Jeddah municipality discovered violations in 2,641 shops and 288 trade fraud cases during inspections over the past six months, the department announced. Inspections of health care providers found 10 clinics with unspecified violations out of 210 inspected clinics. Eight drug stores were also closed down for not abiding by regulations. Other inspections discovered 126 violations in gold shops and 14 establishments that have violated signage regulations.
