JEDDAH: A committee investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a Saudi youth of swine flu visited on Tuesday the private hospital in Dammam where the death occurred. The committee also talked with the deceased man's relatives.
The committee, which was set up at the orders of Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Rabeeah, demanded that the hospital pass all documents related to his case to the Health Ministry's Committee for Medical Violations in the province, Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday. The committee will also inquire whether the hospital complied with the directives of the ministry while treating patients affected by the H1N1 virus.
