JEDDAH: The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry will start offering attestation and endorsement services to the public 24 hours a day on Saturday.
“The attestation and subscription counters of the JCCI will remain open 24 hours a day starting on Aug. 1,” said Sarah Baghdadi, director of services sector at the JCCI, in a statement on Wednesday.
The move, which is a first in the entire Gulf region, aims to guarantee that every customer is served even if there is crowding at the office,” Sarah Baghdadi, director of services sector at the JCCI.
“JCCI Chairman Muhammad Al-Fadl issued on Monday the order of the new timings of the JCCI services saying that the working hours at the main office of the JCCI during the daytime will be 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. But the staff at the service counters will work overtime from that time to 7:30 a.m.,” said the statement.
She added that the other 12 branches of the JCCI would only work in their normal working hours. JCCI serves more than 40,000 companies and establishments.
