LONDON: Petrochem Arabia, Saudi Arabia’s premier international petrochemical and refining conference and exhibition, scheduled at the Dhahran International Exhibition Centre from Oct. 4-6 in Dammam, is aimed at providing the perfect opportunity to focus on how to overcome key challenges facing the downstream petrochemicals sector.
Being held with the support of Eastern Province Gov. Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, as well as the Federation of GCC Chambers, Petrochem Arabia is recognized as being an essential event for Petrochemical professionals to attend, according to the organizer BME Global.
The event will hold interactive discussions from industry leading speakers.
The key themes include the Kingdom’s plans for ongoing investment in the petrochemicals sector in the mid-term, meeting the challenges ahead in Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical industry, developing work force capability and locally qualified staff, international partnerships and joint ventures, ensuring infrastructure and transportation supporting the needs of the industry, sustaining growth and securing availability of credit in challenging economic climate, and implementing advanced technology solutions to reduce costs and create environmental sustainability.
