JEDDAH: Police in Jeddah arrested an African national for a murder they believe he committed against a man of the same nationality in Abha, the daily Al-Riyadh reported on Saturday. Police received information the killer was hiding in Jeddah after he committed his crime. They managed to locate his hiding place and then moved in to arrest him. The alleged killer will be transferred soon back to Abha.
Impersonators rob shop workers
MAKKAH: Police arrested two men on charges they impersonated municipal workers and stole money from a shop in Al-Aziziya district in Makkah, the daily Al-Riyadh reported on Saturday. The two reportedly walked inside the shopping place carrying walkie-talkies and demanded to see work permits and health certificates of workers. They threatened the workers with fines and on their way out, they took calling cards worth more than SR3,000.
