MAKKAH: The Makkah branch of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice arrested on Saturday a widely feared sorcerer who claimed he could use his powers to trace people who informed police about him.
Salem Al-Sarawani, spokesman for the commission in Makkah, said, “The man also claimed that he was an expert in breaking up families and uniting broken families. Commission members set up a sting in which undercover members asked him to reunite a man and wife for SR5,000.”
He said the man was then arrested as he began reciting a spell.
