JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on Monday honored Prince Muhammad bin Naif, assistant minister of interior for security affairs, by conferring on him the King Abdul Aziz Sash of the First Order in appreciation of his efforts in the service of the country. "This is a great honor for all security officers in the Kingdom," said Prince Muhammad said after receiving the sash.
The honor comes nearly two weeks after Prince Muhammad, who is the Kingdom's anti-terror chief, escaped an assassination attempt. A wanted terrorist posing as a well-wisher blew himself up while the prince was receiving people who came to greet him at his Jeddah residence on the occasion of Ramadan.
