CAIRO: Two Egyptian film stars Hussein Fahmi and Liqa Suwaidan, who are husband and wife, have decided to postpone their Umrah trip as a result of swine flu pandemic. Speaking to Sayidaty women’s magazine, Fahmi said he was not confident enough on the measures taken to protect against the disease. “Swine flu is a dangerous disease and we should not take it easy, especially after seeing several deaths around the world,” he said. Producer Enas Al-Daghaidy and actress Abeer Sabri had also decided to postpone the Umrah trip this year. “I feel deep pain and sorrow for having compelled to postpone the spiritual journey to the holy places in Saudi Arabia,” Sabri told the magazine. She had planned to spend the last 10 days of Ramadan in Makkah and Madinah.
