MUMBAI: Pushed to the wall by the constant verbal attacks from his cousin Raj Thackeray, president of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), Uddhav Thackeray, lost his cool on Monday evening at an election campaign rally in Mumbai.
The working president of Shiv Sena dared Raj to make one more attack on the Sena and threatened that if Raj did that, then his case would be decided on Oct. 10, when the Sena-BJP hold a joint rally at Shivaji Park in Dadar suburb. He did not reveal what that action would be.
Raj, while addressing a rally for his candidate for the forthcoming assembly polls on Sunday, had attacked Uddhav for what he called “pretending to bat for the cause of Maharashtrians.” He also ridiculed Uddhav for blaming him for the defeat of the Sena-BJP alliance candidates in Mumbai during the Lok Sabha elections.
Raj had said that the Sena should not blame him for the defeat of the saffron alliance candidates in five out of six Lok Sabha seats.
“It was the Sena which nominated (Sanjay) Nirupam twice to the Rajya Sabha and it was Uddhav who encouraged him to perform North Indian Hindu rituals in Mumbai just to appease the North Indians.”

“At least Nirupam was an outsider but you were from the family. My mother the late Meenatai brought you up with love and care and fed you with her own hand. You grew up playing in the laps of my father Bal Thackeray, And now you have backstabbed him.”
Now its time that Raj stays within his limits and not try to exceed it, Uddhav added.
