ABHA: Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Naif will attend the Abha Prize Distribution Ceremony on Nov. 4 at the King Fahad Cultural Center. He will present the awards in the four different areas of the prize which are national, cultural, scientific and information technology.

Prince Faisal bin Khalid, the governor of Asir, said that Prince Naif’s participation in the ceremony demonstrated the care and courage that the government devotes to talented and distinguished people. He said this had been achieved by including different fields as well as holding competitions which contribute to the country’s development. The competition, he said, also contributes to rooting Islamic values in social life and in guiding talented people to serve their religion and country. It also encourages the spirit of initiation and invention in Asir by offering both financial and moral support.

He added that the cultural prize was one that concerned itself with culture and humanitarian differences and was a positive move toward creativity.
