DAMMAM: Prince Jalawi bin Abdul Aziz bin Musaed, deputy governor of the Eastern Province, opened the young businessmen’s forum here on Monday and highlighted their role in strengthening the Kingdom’s economy. He commended Asharqiya Chamber for organizing the event. The prince also toured an exhibition being staged on the sidelines of the forum. About 40 businesses run by young businessmen are taking part in the show.
Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, chairman of Asharqiya Chamber, said the forum was one of the chamber’s initiatives to strengthen the business sector and expand its contributions to the economy.
He highlighted the importance of manpower development. “It’s not only an economic issue but also a strategic national issue,” he added.
