AL-JOUF: Al-Jouf Governor Prince Fahd bin Badr met on Wednesday the directors of education in Al-Jouf (boys and girls sections) at his office. Prince Fahd was briefed on preparations for the new school year and the precautionary measures that are being taken to prevent swine flu.
Prince Fahd also met officials from the Tourism Development Council in Al-Jouf at the governorate headquarters in Skaka. The Al-Jouf governor said that Domat Al-Jandal Lake would be the region’s main tourist attraction.
He also reviewed the role of companies and businesses in the region’s tourism and discussed the hotel sector and the Domat Al-Jandal project. He further stressed the importance of carefully writing tourism material that effectively represents the area.
