RIYADH: Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) announced on Saturday its results for the first nine months. The bank posted a net profit of SR2.15 billion at the end of Sept. 30, compared with SR2.23 billion for the same period a year earlier, a decrease of 3.9 percent.
Net income of SR714 million was recorded during the Q3 2009 against SR692 million for the Q2 2009 — an increase of 3.2 percent — and SR728 million for the Q3 2008 — a decrease of 1.9 percent, BSF said in a press release on Saturday.
The earnings per share reached SR2.97 for the nine months compared with SR3.09 for the same period during the last year.
In terms of core activities, the bank has posted a net special commission income of SR2.28 billion for the nine months compared to SR2.00 billion for the same period last year.
