JEDDAH: The Saudi Professional League action continues after a 15-day break with four matches being played today.
The main match of the day is between Ahli and Hilal at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal stadium in Jeddah. Hilal with 10 points is in the second place and will go all out for a win and secure all three points so that they can narrow the gap with Al Ittihad.
Al Hilal drew their last outing against Al Nasr on September 29th that helped Ittihad to stay ahead with a two-point lead.
Al Ahli on the other hand, who surprisingly lost to Al Shabab 2-1 in the fourth round of the league, are in fourth place with six points from two wins and one loss.
If Ahli wins against Hilal they will move to the second or third position in the standings. Ahli still has a second round match against Al Hazem that was postponed.
In the other matches, Al-Raid will host Ittifaq in Buraidah. Al-Raid is ninth in the standing with three points while Ittihad are in the 11th position with only two points. Wehda will host Najran in Makkah. Wehda is tenth in the standing with two points and Najran is last with one point only.
Al-Fateh will host Shabab in Ahsa in a difficult match for Shabab. Shabab is third with 10 points and Al-Fateh sixth with four points.
