MADINAH: A Saudi driver’s life has undergone a rags to riches transformation. He has not found Aladdin’s lamp but married the rich lady he was driving. Local daily Okaz reported on Thursday the previously miserable life of M.A. has turned into one of happiness. The man was married to a woman working in the education sector who was always criticizing his humble qualifications. The father of two told the newspaper his ex-wife divorced him by (khula) after he failed to get a job in five years. He said his new wife was impressed by his honesty and good behavior. Her father agreed to let them marry despite protests from other members of her family. M.A. has now given up his old job to run her properties.
