JEDDAH: The death toll in the recent Jeddah floods has risen to 117 following the discovery of another body, Brig. Muhammad Al-Qarni, spokesman for the Civil Defense said on Tuesday. He said 48 persons were still missing.
The committee investigating the reasons behind the flooding has started questioning present and former officials of government departments and private companies relating to rainwater and sewage projects in the city.
