TAIF: The Court of Grievances in Makkah province issued a decision fining Taif police SR28,500 to be paid to a Saudi citizen for seizing his car without reason, the daily Al-Madinah reported on Wednesday.
The paper said the man’s car was reported stolen four years ago and police found it a few months later, but they kept the car for no reason.
The citizen filed a lawsuit against the police claiming they kept his car without informing him.
