JEDDAH: Saudi sex bragger Mazen Abdul Jawad’s lawyer Suleiman Al-Jumaie on Tuesday accused the summary court in Jeddah of delaying his client’s appeal.

He said the court only passed Abdul Jawad’s case to the appeals court on Tuesday although he had submitted his objection around a month ago.

He emphasized the need to look at prisoners’ appeals quickly, adding that his client was a victim of the LBC channel’s media conspiracy.

He insisted that the summary court had no jurisdiction to look into his client’s case, which is related to the media and should be dealt with by the Ministry of Culture and Information. “We hope that if our client failed to get justice at the summary court he would receive it at the appeals court,” said Al-Jumaie, adding that the appeals court would realize the excesses being committed against his client.
