ALKHOBAR: Saudi Kayan Petrochemicals Co. said on Tuesday it expects to start operating the main units of its giant petrochemical complex in Jubail in the second half of 2010.
Kayan, a unit of Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC), has completed on average around 95 percent of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work at the complex, Mutlaq Al-Morished, Kayan’s chairman was quoted as saying in a statement on the Saudi bourse website. (AN)
