RIYADH: Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation, chaired by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, has made a $250,000 donation to the University of Brawijaya, Indonesia. The donation aims to support the university’s infrastructure development, the purchase of teaching material for the language and business school and to offer entrepreneurial training at the faculty of economics.
The University of Brawijaya awarded Prince Alwaleed an honorary doctorate in Management Science in 2008. The doctorate was presented at a ceremony in Riyadh.
