JEDDAH: The International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ) boys’ section recently organized its annual athletic meet. Blue House from IX-XII Block and Green House from VI-VIII Block won the overall championship trophies with 233 and 147 points respectively.
Indian Consul General Sayeed Ahmed Baba declared the sports meet open by lighting the torch and releasing a bunch of balloons. Principal Syed Masood Ahmed welcomed the guests.
Earlier, the participating students held a march past and the Chief Guest Ahmed Baba took the salute.
Blue House won the overall championship with 233 points and Red House second with 171 points in the IX-XII Section while Green House with 147 points became the overall champions in the VI-VIII section. Blue House who scored 59 points were first in games while Red House with 57 points emerged second in the IX-XII section. In athletics Blue House (174 points) were first while Green House (149) were second.
In the VI-VIII section Red House (20) were champions in games and Green House (127) were placed top in athletics.
Naseef Hameed (XIB2, Blue House), Muhammad Hamza (IXB3, Green House), Suhail Ahmed (XB7, Blue House), Akash Kumar (VIIIB4, Yellow House) and Nuwais Akbar (VIB8, Yellow House) were individual champions.
