RIYADH: Police arrested three Asian men, all in their 20s, for forging official documents for illegal overstayers. The men were arrested after police received a tip-off about their activities.
The forgers used numbers from expired documents to make fake passports and ID cards. Over 200 forged passports and 30 Iqamas were seized when the gang was arrested.
The men confessed to the counterfeit activities. It was also found that two of the men were overstayers and were carrying fake Iqamas. The men are still in police custody while investigations continue.
