JEDDAH: Four elementary schoolchildren and their bus driver died in a road accident on the Al-Haramain Road near the Um Al-Salam area on Monday morning. The children were in a school bus when the crash happened.
All of the injured pupils were taken to King Abdul Aziz Hospital. According to staff at the hospital, one of the children underwent immediate surgery. Their injuries varied between broken bones and head injuries. The students were aged between eight and 11.
