JEDDAH: Umar Swadi of Deccan Knights dazzled with the bat scoring an unbeaten 153 runs to help his team score a comfortable 116-run win over MMASCC in the Division II matches sponsored by Al Harazi contracting and Trading Establishment and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).

The other player to catch the eye was Mohammed Inayathullah who put up a fine all round show scoring 77 runs and later took three wickets for the Knights.

Batting first after winning the toss Deccan Knights piled up 289 for 1 in their allotted 18 overs. Swadi, who is in terrific form this season, pelted the bowlers all round the ground for his one-and-half ton that included 16 hits to the fence and 7 sixes.

In reply MMASSC made 173 for 6. Kamaran (67), Atif (38), Shiraz (21) did their best.

In the second match of the day NCB beat Bupa by 8 wickets.

Batting first Bupa were bowled out for 132 in 17.2 off their allotted 18 overs. Imran was their highest run-getter with 28 runs followed by Mushtaq 21. Adil took three wickets.

In reply, NCB reached their target for the loss of two wickets. Tahir remained unbeaten with 61 runs while Jameel got 39.

In the third match of the day, Butt-XI got the better of ACC by seven wickets.

ACC scored 129 for 9 in their allotted 18 overs. Akbar (25) and Quddoos (23) were the main scorers. Nasser Ayub Khan took 4 wickets while Imran Butt got 3.

In reply Butt-XI reached their target of 130 for the loss of 3 wickets. Tariq Butt (44), Irfan Butt (36 n.o.) and Zeeshan Butt (25) were the top scorers.

In the last match of the day ALJ batting first scored 133 for 8 in 18 overs against KAIA.

Tanvir was the highest scorer with 46 runs. Asif took 3 for 30, Muqeeth 2 for 20.

KAIA reached the target of 136 for 5 wickets. Mustafa hit an unbeaten knock of 58 runs and Sajid hit a quick fire 37.

KAIA registered their second straight win by 5 wickets. Nisar had two wickets.
