RIYADH: Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of the Saudi Society for the Care of Orphans (Insan), is to preside at a function in Riyadh on Sunday at which Insan’s Distinction Prizes will be awarded to a number of the society’s employees. The award ceremony will take place at the Saud Al-Babtain Culture and Heritage Center.
Prince Faisal is also chairman of Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG).
“The function will honor notable employees, including women, of the society over the past year.
“The prize was instituted two years ago to reward distinguished service given by employees in all of the society’s administrative offices and branches. They should fulfill the specifications laid down to qualify for the prize,” explained Saleh Al-Yusuf, director general of the society.
He added that by instituting the prize the society hoped to encourage a spirit of competition among employees, Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday. “The prize is one of the society’s methods to supervise and follow up programs and activities of the nine branches in and around Riyadh and upgrade their performance,” he said.
The prizes will go to the best research and social service department, the best sponsorship, the best women’s department, the best reception department, the best branch administrative building and the most ideal and distinguished branch as well as to the men and women employees considered to have distinguished themselves the most during the year.
