Portland won despite missing Brandon Roy with a sore right hamstring, partly thanks to Orlando star Dwight Howard having an off night, making just four of seven attempts from the field.

Pistons 110, Hornets 104, OT: In Auburn Hills, Michigan, Richard Hamilton scored a season-high 32 points to lead Detroit over New Orleans in overtime.
Rodney Stuckey scored eight of his 13 points in overtime.
Chris Paul had 24 points and 14 assists for the Hornets before fouling out.
