JEDDAH: Al-Hilal is now one match away from becoming the champions of the Saudi Professional League after beating Al-Raid 2-1 at Prince Faisal bin Fahd stadium in Riyadh in round 18 on Tuesday.
Hilal is now on top with 47 points while Al-Raid is last on the league table with eight points only.
Al-Ittihad continued their dismal show and was held by Al-Ittifaq 1-1 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal stadium in Jeddah.
Ittihad is third in the standing with 33 points while Ittifaq is in eight place with 20 points.
In the last match, Nasr defeated Al-Wehda 2-0 in Makkah.
