JEDDAH: Jeddah municipality and the General Authority For Civil Aviation (GACA) has agreed on the final plan for Al-Amal and Al-Nuzha roads.
Al-Nuzha Road will connect the Corniche from the west to Al-Haramain Expressway to the east. A committee consisting from the municipality, the Traffic Department and a consultant from GACA signed the agreement.
The director of transport and traffic engineering at the municipality, Hosni Kalkatawi, said that the new Al-Amal Road would also connect Jeddah’s north part from east to west.
The road will serve as an alternative to Hera Road. Hera road will be used by commercial traffic only.
