Actor Gary Coleman jailed in Utah
SANTAQUIN, Utah: Actor Gary Coleman was arrested in Utah on a warrant for failing to appear in court, police said.
The 41-year-old former “Diff’rent Strokes” actor was booked into the Utah County Jail Sunday, said Santaquin police officer Shawn Carter. He said early Monday that he didn’t have details on the warrant or know if Coleman was still being held. He said more information would be released later in the day.
The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Utah County Jail records show he was arrested after police received reports of a disturbance at his Santaquin home.
The actor was arrested in Utah in 2008 after a man claimed Coleman tried to run over him in a parking lot when he tried to take a picture with the child star. The case was reportedly been settled out of court.
Affleck charmed Garner with e-mails
LONDON: Actress Jennifer Garner says that her actor husband Ben Affleck is a persuasive writer and wooed her through e-mails. The actress married Affleck in June 2005.
“It helped that we were both single at the time. He’s a very good writer,” imdb.com quoted her as saying.
Asked if he wrote her love letters, she said: “Don’t make assumptions. I didn’t say that! Okay... e-mail. He’s a very persuasive writer.”
The 37-year-old, who was previously married to actor Scott Foley, said the secret to their relationship was that they were friends before and knew how to be “goofy” with each another.
“Ben is charm personified when he wants to be. He just knows I’m nuts about him and he doesn’t have anything to worry about. Don’t forget we were friends first for a long time,” she said.

Mel Gibson fears his life is becoming boring
LONDON: Hollywood star Mel Gibson fears his life is getting boring because he is trying to get healthy and has given up some of his favorite pastimes like smoking.
“I try and eat right but I don’t work out much. I quit smoking, so that’s something in the right direction. I just don’t do anything fun anymore. But that’s dying, isn’t it?,” contactmusic.com quoted Gibson as saying.
“I think I am a lot better because maturity brings things out. I just wish I had that youthful spring again. But it’s a trade-off, right?” he added.
Gibson has seven children with his estranged wife Robyn Moore and daughter Lucia with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
“I don’t think I will ever be able to get over the fact that there is a little life in front of me. So I will see if I can do it better this time,” he said.
