NTU partnered the Kauffman Foundation to establish the first Kauffman Campus outside the US. The university, together with Caltech, ETH Zürich, Georgia Tech, Imperial College London, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, also established the Global Alliance of Technological Universities, which aims to address such global societal issues as health care, sustainability and global environmental change, energy, water and food supplies - for which science and technology could be the solution.
NTU's Yunnan Garden campus will be the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Village.
