Another world tour? Maybe, says Tina Turner

PARIS: Veteran pop star Tina Turner may yet call her troupe of dancers out for another world tour, though for the moment she prefers home-cooked dinners and a stress-free life.

Sitting in the front row at the Giorgio Armani Prive fashion show in Paris on Monday, the 70-year-old looked radiant says she has not decided yet when asked if she would stage another world tour.

“People wanted to see me, so many were holding signs up saying, Thank You,” she said of her 2008 tour, which grossed $47.7 million.

“I didn’t make a plan for a big tour, with big stadiums. I’m not saying I won’t do it, get the girls out and do something, but I haven’t decided.”

Turner has for decades been one of the world’s most successful performers, roaring out hits like “Simply The Best” and “What’s Love Got To Do With It” in stage-stomping, high-octane concerts.

Pitt buys bachelor pad to get over split from Jolie

LONDON: Actor Bradd Pitt has reportedly spent over $ 1.1 million on a bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills to help him sort out his split from partner Angelina Jolie, says a report.

Built in 1920 and originally on sale, the property has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a bar area and a cave built into the foundations, reports dailymail.co.uk.

“The house oozes character. Brad has had his eye on it for some time but he decided now was the right time to buy because he wanted a place to call his own,” said a source.

“He needs somewhere quiet that doesn’t have memories of Angie and where he can be alone and think about what he does next,” added the source.

Pitt and Jolie are already believed to have enlisted lawyers to negotiate the division of their over $330 million (205 million pounds) fortune and custody of their children.

But a family source said: “Brad is desperately trying to cling on to the wreckage of the relationship as he is still very much in love with Angelina and believes they can make it work.”

The couple have six children — adopted sons Maddox, 8, and Pax, 6; adopted daughter Zahara, 5, and their natural children Shiloh, 3, and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Wife pretended as

Woods to expose him

LONDON: Elin Nordegren exposed her husband Tiger Woods’ affair with a nightclub hostess by pretending to be the golfer when texting her, says a report.

Thesun.co.uk reports that the 34-year-old golf ace was unmasked as a serial sex cheat in November after crashing his car outside his Florida home following a huge bust-up with his wife Elin Nordegren, 30.

The full sequence of events on the night he met with the accident was unveiled Monday.

According to the reports, after a US magazine revealed Woods was having a fling with Rachel Uchitel, 34, the golfer let Elin speak to her on the phone in a bid to persuade her they were just friends.

But the next night, Nov 26., Elin texted his mistress pretending to be her husband. She then heard the truth behind their relationship, sparking the violent row which ended with her chasing him down the drive with a golf club.

Woods has now checked into a sex addiction rehab center in a bid to save his marriage.

The hotel will be located on a fashion-themed island called Isla Moda off the Dubai coast, which is part of The World development — a man-made archipelago of 300 islands created in the shape of a map of the landmasses of the Earth.

Victoria has not yet decided whether to sign up, but if she accepts the offer she will work with Karl Lagerfeld on the project.
