RIYADH: Jerry Damiray excelled to lift Wala Pa Eh! to a Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week double during the fourth week of the Almarai Saturday Bowling League 9th Conference at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC) here.

Almarai Company represented by PR Manager Talal Al-Otaibi, and Majed Mohammed Al Doyhi, senior PR supervisor, sponsored the tournament under the auspices of the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

Sonny Alviso’s Wala Pa Eh! banked on Damiray, Sydney Kawi, Arnold Salcedo, and Ruben Rialon to dismantle Over Hit 2 24-8.

Eventual Bowler of the Week Damiray posted a towering four-game series of 964 points. Backing up Damiray at Wala Pa Eh! were Kawi (856), Salcedo (782), Rialon (758) and Alviso (754).

The match between back-to-back champion Eraserheads and Alsalam Air strikers resulted in 22-5 in favor of Eraserheads. At the helm for Eraserheads was Willy Nogoy with 850 points followed by Andro Tismo with 807 points.

Benito Santos and Arnel Gordovez chipped in with 603 and 602 points while Ronald Bautista had 440. Zaldy Torres and Jojo Gabriel added 374 and 347. The win enabled Eraserheads to take over the top spot from Fathi Bowlers.

The tandem of the comebacking Jess Vidal and Rollie Cleofe led Alsalam Air Strikers by posting separate series of 781 and 780. Rizal Dellosa and Mario Rivera shared 610 and 516, while Edwin Magtibay and team captain Bandar Al-Marshad downed 474 and 376.

Fathi Bowlers nipped Fuji Elevators 16-13 behind the sterling performances of Fathi Abdulaziz (818), Gayner Elias (769) and Abdullah Amoudi (747).Fahad Al-Haza posted 630 series in three games while Emil Rances added 569.

Jerry Austri top-scored at Fuji Elevators with 789 points and next to him having the best output were Bobby Jamora (789), Wilson Bacala (769), Chito Llagas (708) and Fhel Ramos (596).

Nadec Strokers edged SABB-One HSBC 16-14. Topscoring at Nadec were the trio of Ruben Babasa (826), Jove Marano (822) and Reynald Medina (816). Team captain Lope Ramirez and Danny Nabong registered separate series of 759 and 669. Leo Mabunga and Cas Encila poured 832 and 802 to pace SABB-One HSBC. Francis Guron (750) and Mike Ecalnir (651) followed in that order, while Yasser Mohammed and Jojo Paciano downed 394 and 302.

Royal Archer prevailed against Talent Management 13-9 thanks to Fareed Aquino (772) and Edwin Nunez (742). Nap Torres impressed too by posting 675 points while Tony Napo, Doy del Moral and Donjie Mapalad submitted 424, 370 and 368. FBGR 2009 Bowler of the Year Ric Tugonon added 292.

Orbit Showtime captained by Rodel Canda blasted Almarai Company 12-3. Resty de Jesus and Atoi Ramos shone at Orbit Showtime by posting 753 and 703.
