Brig. Gen. Ali Al-Muntasheri, spokesman for the Makkah Civil Defense, said the incident happened at 8 a.m. on Monday. “Five Civil Defense teams attended the site to help the four men out of the twisted metal. Heavy machinery was used to cut through the metal and reach them,” he added.
