- HAFR AL-BATEN: Customs officials at the Al-Bat’ha entry point foiled five attempts to smuggle liquor into the country.
More than 11,000 bottles of liquor were seized. In one operation alone, officials seized around 7,000 bottles of liquor hidden in a shipment.
