ALKHOBAR: Members of the Commission to Promote Virtue and Prevent Vice arrested a Saudi man who attempted to kidnap a high school girl in Alkhobar, a local daily reported.
According to the girl’s father, the man tried to kidnap his daughter from in front of the house when she was entering. He was waiting for her, before grabbing her hand and then trying to force her into his car. She resisted and pushed him away.
When he promised to kidnap her again, the father complained to authorities. Commission members monitored the school and saw the man again in the same car circling the school. He was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. Police found that the man had a previous criminal record.
