QATIF: Three people attacked an injured man as he slept in the emergency section of Qatif central hospital on Sunday, a local daily reported. The trio used sticks to attack their victim.
Nurses screamed for help when they saw the attackers. Despite resistance from hospital security staff and some of the doctors, they managed to force themselves inside the injured man’s room and closed the door.
Hospital staff contacted police but the men escaped before officers arrived. Police are still investigating.
