According to a report in Al-Madinah daily on Saturday, the fire gutted a house in the southern Al-Sadah district. A neighbor saw smoke billowing from the house at 2 a.m. on Thursday and informed the Civil Defense. Maj. Ibrahim Abal Khail, spokesman of the Civil Defense in Qassim province, said firefighting teams rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.

Three siblings, trapped inside their house, were rescued and taken to hospital. Later, the girl succumbed to her injuries while the other two were undergoing treatment.
