- JEDDAH: Dr.
- Sami Badawood, director general of health in Jeddah, opened on Monday Maghrabi Hospitals and Centers’ most advanced dental center in north Jeddah.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Board of Directors of Maghrabi Group Dr. Akif Al-Maghrabi, Managing Director Mutasim Alireza and a large number of prominent personalities.
Covering an area of 1,000 square meters, the center is provided with advanced medical facilities.
“The new center has been opened as part of the group’s strategy to expand services for our clients,” said Dr. Abdul Rahman Barzanji, executive director of Maghrabi Dental Centers.
He said the new center on the second floor of Salama Center along Prince Sultan Street was established after conducting a detailed study, which showed that Maghrabi’s clients in that part of the city required a center.
The center has been designed with the utmost care that reflects the group’s vision for specialized medical care, he said, adding that it has 10 clinics covering all dental specializations, including implantology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pedodontics and oral surgery.
“We have allocated adequate space for patients to rest and for children to play,” Barzanji said. He said the center has modern medical equipment to ensure precision in diagnosis and treatment.
“Maghrabi Dental Centers apply international standards to ensure quality,” he said, adding that its clinics are manned by specialists and qualified technicians. “Our centers also use advanced sterilization facilities to prevent the spread of diseases,” he said.
He said the number of Maghrabi Dental Centers in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries would reach 10 by the end of this year.
Barzanji highlighted Maghrabi group’s investment in the medical sector, as it currently owns 24 medical institutions, specializing in eyes, ENT and dentistry in major cities of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Egypt and Yemen. It also runs a number of charitable hospitals.
