Dariyah, the seat of the first Saudi government, is replete with historical sites and antiques. According to Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, UNESCO is to vote for Dariyah this summer.

In a recent statement, Prince Sultan also emphasized the need to convert the region into an economic, historical and cultural zone of high value.
