- RIYADH: Riyadh Gov.
- Prince Salman opened on Saturday the western wing of the Riyadh ring road project, which was carried out by the Transport Ministry at a cost of SR894 million.
Transport Minister Jabara Al-Seraisry said the project covering 13.5 km includes three flyovers at Wadi Hanifa, Wadi Mahdiya and Wadi Obeir in addition to seven intersections.
He said the project would facilitate traffic in the city and reduce bottlenecks, adding that it would serve the southern and western districts of the city.
"The project will also improve traffic toward King Khaled International Airport and King Saud University," the minister said.
