The Ibn Khaldun Institute is a private institution in Warsaw devoted to research the Arab and Islamic worlds, and registered by Professor Boguslaw R. Zagórski, who converted to Islam several years ago.

The project has been launched to identify and better understand the geographical horizons of Ibn Khaldun, the great Muslim philosopher, and the multicultural North African setting in which his thought developed.

It targets specialists in Arabic and Islamic studies concerned with East-West relations in the past and present.

It also provides tangible documents connected to multicultural issues, mainly in the context of European and Islamic relationships. Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation — Lebanon works internationally to reframe perceptions of Islam and the West through dialogue, programs and educational centers around the world to promote a greater understanding between different faiths and worldviews.

The foundation also aims to tackle poverty, provide rapid aid in cases of natural disasters and provide women and youth in the Middle East North African region with economic and educational opportunities.
