- MAKKAH: A woman in her 40s was found dead in her apartment on the second floor of her father’s building in Makkah’s Al-Otaibiyah district, the police announced Saturday.
- The police did not identify the woman but said she was divorced and was suffering from psychological disorders.
Acting spokesman of Makkah police Maj. Zaki Al-Rihaili said the preliminary investigations showed that the woman might have been murdered as there were serious injuries in the head. The spokesman later said that police arrested the woman’s killer who was her brother.
The spokesman said the police received information about the suspected murder 24 hours after it had happened. He said teams of forensic experts were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crime.
