- RIYADH: Police in Riyadh have arrested a 34-member gang of thieves with different nationalities and aged between 20 and 30 after receiving information that they had committed a number of thefts in different parts of the country.
Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department arrested the gang after conducting a study on recent incidents of theft.
They found that most of them were conducted in the same pattern. “It proved that a single gang committed them,” a police officer said.
He said the gang, which included 29 illegal foreign workers, had committed 24 robberies in Riyadh, Al-Kharj, Qassim, Hail and Eastern Province.
