- JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah telephoned Spain's King Juan Carlos on Sunday to congratulate him on his country's victory in the World Cup finals.
Spain won the glittering 2010 FIFA World Cup by beating the Netherlands, 1-0, in the finals at Soccer City outside Johannesburg, South Africa, on Sunday.
King Carlos thanked the Saudi ruler for his gesture.
It's Spain's first football World Cup title.
