He added that BRJ’s Egyptian branches created 5,075 job opportunities through its various programs, including those focusing on small project finance opportunities, productive households and training ending with employment.

He added that the training ending with employment program has achieved outstanding success during the first six months of the year.

The program provides beneficiaries training so they can qualify for certain jobs within six months. The beneficiary will then choose to continue with the job or start his own small project.

The BRJ International branch in Syria was launched in Tartoos and created 2,680 job opportunities by providing support for small projects and enrolling 2,020 women in its productive household program.

During the first half of 2010, the branch also enrolled 20 disabled women on its programs.

Al-Faramawi stated that BRJ had received a license to operate in Turkey and had started constructing its premises there.

Activities are expected to start next month to provide diversified job opportunities based on the Turkish labor market’s demands.

Ehab, a beneficiary of BRJ’s small projects program, said that he used the financial support to diversify his jewelry products and decorate his showroom, which attracted more customers to his business.

Hala Hassan Nasr was pleased after joining the productive household program. She stated that the program helped her expand her business.

BRJ Saudi Arabia announced last week that its branches in the Kingdom had created 21,475 job opportunities during the first half of 2010.
