- JEDDAH: A seven-day anti-drugs exhibition showcasing art by local artists and organized by various government bodies ended at Jeddah’s N2 Mall on Rawdah Street on Friday night.
The Drug Enforcement Department held a final ceremony honoring participants on Friday night. “I want to thank everyone who participated in the overall success of this campaign, and I would also like to thank those who created these exhibitions showcasing the harmful effects of drugs and narcotics,” said Capt. Abdul Razak Al-Zahrani, deputy director of Makkah’s Drug Enforcement Department.
The exhibition was held on the second floor of the mall and was open to the public throughout the week. Organizers estimate that over 2,000 people attended the exhibition.
“The exhibition is over. However, the campaign against drugs will continue. We’re planning to move the exhibition elsewhere and deliver presentations on the dangers of drugs,” said Capt. Nasser Al-Zahrani, director of the department in Jeddah.
