In line with the importance it gives to social communication, STC has launched the Me2 program via mobile devices for its customers. The program gives customers access to public and private chat rooms to enable communication with friends via mobile phone in the form of a virtual avatar.

Me2, one of latest programs in the world of technology, enables customers to design a virtual person he chooses to be his avatar during conversations and meetings held with others in these virtual rooms where he can live in his virtual world in a convenient way.

It helps a customer create alternative avatars for different virtual cases, which assists the customer to develop his avatar’s intelligence and live in his own virtual world.

According to a statement issued by STC Sunday, a user can download the program on his mobile by sending the word “Me2” in a SMS to the number 5100 where he will get his free-of-charge personal representative and a 50 points credit. This enables the customer to buy and have a place to reside in the program, which provides the opportunity to access a social communication process through instant messaging in a number of rooms where he can meet and talk to other users.

The first of its kind, this program has many advantages, the most important of which is being able to make the changes you want in the appearance of your personal avatar, such as skin color, hair, eyes, lips, clothes, shoes and accessories, via a continuously updated list. In addition, each personal avatar has his residential place that can be rearranged as desired, such as furniture and wall color, through an updated list.

The personal avatar is mobile and can move through and between the rooms and make gestures such as saying hello, clapping, smiling and laughing, and this will be visible to other users and vice versa. Also, he can interact with furniture like sitting on chairs and communicate with others using instant messaging that appears in dialogue bubbles.

The user has the ability to build his private world, visit places, celebrate, invite friends, and donate and buy gifts for friends which will be paid for inside the program via SMS or Me2 credit, such as buying furniture or changing the color of the residence or any other pieces available in the program.
